Data Integration Specialist

We are recruiting a Data Integration Specialist to join our growing Business Systems Support team. The Data Integration Specialist (DIS) is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining various facets of our Business Intelligence and Application environments. This includes creating a stable ETL/ELT framework and set of design patterns; collecting data from external APIs and on-premise applications to centralized locations; and moving data between disparate Line-of-Business applications. The DIS also works closely with other members of the Business Intelligence team to build Operational Data Stores, the Data Warehouse, and Data Marts.

A typical day may include: 

  •  Developing & maintaining a modular, reusable ETL/ELT framework.
  •  Developing & maintaining various Operational Data Stores (ODS) from business applications and external data sources.
  •  Working with the Business Intelligence team to develop and maintain a Data Warehouse and Data Marts.
  •  Developing solutions to move data between different applications and databases.
  •  Debugging and troubleshooting data integration solutions and data models.
  •  Working with Business Analysts and Back Office employees to identify and plan new data and reporting needs and make additions to existing processes.
  •  Creating documentation for end-user data consumption and administrative troubleshooting and auditing.
  •  Assisting the Business Systems Support team, Client Services, and Management teams with reporting requests and application troubleshooting when needed.

You may be a good fit for this role if: 

You have at least 1 to 2 years experience developing Data Integration solutions and have working knowledge of Business Intelligence Markup Language (BIML).  You are proficient with SQL Server Integration Services, Microsoft SQL Servers, and Transact SQL for Database Design, DDL & DML statements, and Index & Query tuning.  You have working knowledge of C#/.NET Framework.  You are familiar with GIT (a plus) and with Master Data Services and Data Quality Services (a plus).
