Bilingual Talent Acquisition Manager - South Florida - 2021

Department: 106 - Talent Acquisition & Development
Location: Doral, FL

The South Florida Bilingual Talent Acquisition Manager will take the lead in developing and implementing Recruitment and Employee Retention strategies to meet the business needs for the South Florida Business Unit. The Talent Acquisition Manager will also collaborate with the Local Leadership Team and the Talent Acquisition and Development Team (TAD) in becoming a “Trusted Advisor” to the local business unit.

To a lesser degree, the Talent Acquisition Manager will assist the local business unit in General HR duties such as Employee Training, Payroll, Benefits and Compliance.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partners with the local leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Manages the talent acquisition process, which includes full life cycle recruitment.
  • Coordinates, schedules, and participates in interviews with management team.
  • Collaborates with management to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Determines current and future staffing needs and produces staffing forecasts.
  • Develops talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans including the use and evaluation of sourcing platforms.
  • Leads employment branding initiatives and collaborates with the Marketing Department for recruitment campaigns.
  • Utilizes the Applicant Tracking System to develop a pipeline of current and future candidates.
  • Develops networking relationships with schools, non-profit organizations, employment agencies, etc.
  • Ensures a positive candidate experience which includes leading the “On-Boarding” experience for new employees.
  • Organizes and/or attend career/job fairs, assessment centers or other events.
  • Serves as the Employee Relations Advisor to the local business unit. Provides leadership for employee investigations, disciplinary meetings, and terminations.
  • Develops and uses metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement.
  • Presents Learning and Development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for co-workers.
  • Assists the Corporate Compliance Team in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Implements corporate-wide strategies and meets corporate and divisional goals.
  • Assists in tracking Employee Referral Programs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Global Responsibilities:

  • Regular attendance and physical presence at work is an essential function of this position
  • This job may require additional duties not listed above and the employee may be asked to perform those duties to meet business needs
  • Travel to various plants in the region required

Qualifications:

Education/Specialized Knowledge/Professional Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • A minimum of three years of Human Resource management experience focused on employee recruitment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with Proficient Level of Spanish language (Verbal and Writing) required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong experience collaborating with other departments.
  • Ability to prioritize and quickly respond to challenges under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HR systems.
