Billing Associate - Aggregates (Part Time, Seasonal) - Mokena 2021

Department: 104 - Acct/Finance
Location: Mokena, IL

Summary:  The Billing Associate - Aggregates primary responsibilities include supporting the billing process for all aggregative activity; communicating with Dispatch, Sales, and Billing personnel to ensure billing is timely and accurate.  This is a part time, seasonal position. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review, edit, and process a high volume of delivery tickets
• Compare data in point of sale with order information, and price sheets
• Investigate internal and external discrepancies involving pricing and communicate with team
• Coordinate flow of information with dispatch and back office staff
• Review all billing documentation to ensure accuracy
• Respond to requests from internal/external customers about invoice questions and ticket requests
• Help the team with ad-hoc projects and requests

Global Responsibilities:
• Regular attendance and physical presence at work is an essential function of this position
• This job may require additional billing or clerical duties not listed above and the employee may be asked to perform those duties to meet business needs

Qualifications:

Education/Specialized Knowledge/Professional Certifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Obtained or pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred

Experience:
•Experience in Data Entry preferred

Skills/Abilities:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)
• Demonstrate initiative with the ability to multitask and collaborate in a fast-paced environment to meet department deadlines
• Adapts well to change
• Strong analytic ability with a capacity for critical problem solving; high level of accuracy and attention to detail a must
• Ability to effectively communicate to meet customer service levels both externally and internally across all levels of the organization

Working Conditions:
• Operation within a professional office environment
• Routine usage of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets
• Travel requirements are minimal

Physical Requirements:
• Regularly required to talk or hear; frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
• Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
