Materials Fleet Administrator

Department: Ozinga Materials
Location: Mokena, IL


Summary:  The Materials Fleet Administrator will assist in the administration and coordination of the organization's fleet and will have an active role in managing an annual capital budget. The position will be responsible for assisting the company with equipment program coordination, facilitation, and record management associated with the company's mobile and fixed assets.

  

Principal Duties and Responsibilities   

Monitor existing assets with Materials Department managers

Work with Dealers on current order status, timely delivery of necessary paperwork and month end reporting

Work with operations to anticipate and plan upcoming needs to ensure operational efficiencies

Work with Department Managers on Monthly Utilization Reports

Analyze reports for variances from forecasted, budgeted, and benchmarked performance

Provide management with continuous updates on Equipment Inventory and location

Assist with month end reporting and analysis for department

Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures

Monitor and Maintain Prepass, IPASS, tolls for company

Monitor and Maintain Asset Fuel Reporting

  

Qualifications   

Strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skill sets.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational, analytical, and data management skills.

Strong negotiation skills.

Benchmarking experience.

Program management experience preferred.

 

Working Conditions   

This job typically operates in a professional office environment with exposure to a warehouse environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phone, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.  Fleet Administrator maybe asked to travel up to 5-10%. Travel will be consulted with employee before arrangements are made.
